1995 Silver Plate Recipient
Kurt Fischer, Vice President of the Food and Beverage Forum, has been named a 1995 Silver Plate recipient in the Hotels and Lodging category by the International Foodservice Manufacturers Association (IFMA). IFMA is an association of food, equipment and supplies manufacturers, distributors, brokers, trade publications, and support service agencies.
Since 1955, IFMA's Gold and Silver Plate Awards have acknowledged the most outstanding operator talents in the $294+ billion foodservice industry. The mission of the Gold and Silver Plate program has been to "recognize excellence to encourage excellence." The Silver Plate Awards recognize professionals who have demonstrated foodservice industry segment leadership and noteworthy achievement, and have made lasting contributions to the advancement of the industry.
Any person worldwide, engaged in active ownership, management, supervision of or employment at an establishment in one of the designated operator award categories, is eligible to receive an IFMA Silver Plate Award.
